Another perk

Working in the IT field, you sometimes get perks that keep you in your current location. I got a Precision 380 workstation back in September that is awesome as well as a lot of other hardware/software. It looks like the boss is happy with the work I’ve been doing because I was just told that I’m getting another upgrade.

What am I getting? Get ready for this…………

Dell 30″ UltraSharp Widescreen LCD

Specs:

My workstation already has the required NVidia QUADRO FX3450 (dual DVI). This monitor is going to replace the 19″ and 17″ Dell LCD’s I’m currently using.

    Tell me you guys game afterhours at work . . . you do right? Tell me you do and that you’re not wasting that horsepower and massive viewing angle on hex editors and SQL query screens!!!

    It’s not just queries running against a remote SQL Server. I also run SQL Server, MySQL, IIS, and Apache (it’s a developer system).

    And of course we game. Full resolutions and effects enabled. ;)
