Order or move out of the way

I stopped by McDonald’s this morning to pick up my morning starter, a large coffee. Only one line was open and there was an older lady in front of me. She was looking up at the menu and then started asking the cashier, “How many calories are in X?”. The cashier said, “Hold on a second” and walked over to the rack where the pamphlets were that hold that information.

The cashier handed the brochure to the lady. Instead of moving over so the rest of us could order, the lady just stood there reading the pamphlet! Every few seconds she would ask, “What if I get X and Y, how many calories and fat grams would that be?”. WHAT!?!?!?! Somebody give the lady a calculator and sit her down at a table. I want my caffiene.

Needless to say, they didn’t bother opening another line so I was stuck. If it weren’t for the fact that I don’t trust myself mixing sugar in the coffee while in the car, I would have just gone through the drive-thru.
