Self-destructing email address

Have you ever had to give your email address for a site in order to register for access and worry about getting spam? A new service called 10 Minute Mail is a fix for that problem.

10 Minute Mail is simple and free. All you do is visit the site, click the Get my 10 Minute Mail e-mail address link and you get a unique email address. The address is good for 10 minutes (surprise?) and allows you to receive the authentication email from the website that you are signing up for.

If you leave the page open, it will automatically refresh every 30 seconds in order to show you any mail received. A link is provided to add 10 more minutes if you haven’t received the authentication email in that amount of time.
