Dish Network, Charter and a firewall

The Dish Network technicians showed up yesterday. Unlike DirecTV, they were able to send two satellite TV signals over the single line running to my living room TV. They hooked up the DVR 625 and everything is working great.

I still need to call Charter to cancel their services. I’ll do that as soon as I get home today. Why didn’t I do it last night? Procrastination.

I also have to get my pfSense firewall running again. One of the network cards went south on me so I’m going to pick up a replacement today. I might wipe it and test out IPCop. I’ve used it before but it’s been a couple of years.
