WordPress Theme Generator

Want an easy way to make your own WordPress theme? Check out the WordPress Theme Generator. There are a lot of options to choose from:

Body size (where your post are)
Sidebars
- Location and size
- Number of sidebars (one, two or none)
Menu layout
Background schemes
Font schemes

All changes are updated in the preview window immediately when you move from the editing field. If it doesn’t update, simply click the Preview button at the bottom of the page. The themes created with the WP Theme Generator include Widget support.

Once you’ve designed the theme how you want, you can download it by clicking the Save button. The download is a single zip file that can be extracted and uploaded to your WordPress installation.

The background choices may not appeal to you but you can always change it. Just download the theme you create with a background image, change out the image file and change the filename in the style sheet to match your preferred background. Quick, easy and you can learn a little CSS while you’re at it.
