I came, I Saw IV, I conquered

Saw IV is being released tomorrow (10/26). Tonight, a local IMAX theater is doing a Saw marathon starting at 6 p.m (Saw IV plays at 12 a.m.). I’m going up there with a friend in a little while. I purchased the tickets earlier today. I got the student discount ($7.50 vs. $9) for no reason except a nice ticket cashier. The price covers all 4 shows and the concession prices aren’t too bad. They’ll probably temporarily cancel the “Free Refills” policy during the marathon.

Tomorrow will be a long day since I won’t get to bed until about 3 a.m. and be at work at 7:30 a.m. It’s worth it.

I never actually got around to watching any of the saw movies. Let us know if it/they is/are good.

FMS: If you like horror movies that make you think, you’ll like the Saw series.

The Saw series is one of the only movie lines that I think they are making the sequels better than the original. The producers/directors do a good job of tying in what is happening in the current release to something that happened in a previous one.

Saw IV did not disappoint. My only tip before watching Saw IV is that if you don’t remember how everything happened in Saw III, watch it again.

Hmm, I should watch it then. God knows George “More money than sense” Lucas really made a dogs breakfast of the last 3 movies.

I think I’ll watch it back to back like you did. Only my method of theatre acquisition is more questionable and slighty less-than-legal.
