Where to begin?

Yeahhhhhhh….I’ve really done well keeping up the site. Six months without a single update. Wow.

The short answer to “Why the hell hasn’t this site been updated?” is: Work and Facebook.

After working all summer, putting in a little overtime and tweaking a few settings, the Cisco NAC is finally working (for the most part) as it should. I now have 16 locations being monitored and very few issues. I get a few other projects thrown my way but it’s still not as bad as when I was first trying to get the NAC working.

Facebook, on the other hand, may cause me to go to Internet rehab. Mafia Wars and Yoville sucked me in and haven’t let me out. If you want to friend me, just search for my email address. If you know me, you know what my email address is.

I won’t promise frequent updates but I will try. Maybe keeping up my own site will help me break out of Facebook.

    In 2006, you put together an article on how to install Avira under Ubuntu. Do you have an update on that? I’m running Ubuntu 9.10, and there’s a new version of Dazuko. I think other things have changed, too.

    I have not done an updated install. I have moved away from running any antivirus software on my linux laptop because I found that it was slowing it down too much.
